Fender cut outs?

I have a little rust around the wheel wells in the back and i had it fixed once but it came back. So im thinking i am just going to cut the wheel wells out a couple inches and cover the cut with fender flairs, think this will work? Anyone have pics of cutting out wheel wells? i Know some guys have done this to clear bigger tires. thanks

so you mean like the bushwacker cut out flares?

I found some bushwacker flairs on craigslist but i dont know if they are the cut out ones but they look like they will give me plenty of coverage
