changing door lock cylnders

i have been having problems with getting my key to turn the lock cylnders im wondering how hard these are to change and any hints would be great thanks in advance

Well this isn't the best solution but it worked for me in my OBS...I just took my cylinders out of the doors, took them apart and removed either one or two of the tumblers (can't remember?) and my key turned fine after that. The only thing I was worried about was somebody else's key working in them so I just had a few of my buddies try unlocking the doors with their Ford keys and none of them worked. I was content but like I said its probably not the best solution but it works.

I was gonna do it to mine cause my key wouldnt unlock my door but would unlock the pass. door and start the truck, but found out my key was worn out and the problem... cut another key out of the original and everything as been working great since then.

yea my key will open the pass side door but i do have to kinda wiggle it around to open it it works in the ignition just fine tho
