ok so theres a salvage yard thats just down the road and has superduty parts

so im in heaven atm.


so i was wanting to put the 05-07 headlights on, cab lights, 08 tailgate, and maybe the tail lights.

their pricing is :

headlights...120 a side

tailgate......450
cab lights.... getting that from a org member
tail lights....didnt ask yet

i know the mounts need to be changed for the tail gate if you want to use the spring. i dont want to use it.

the head lights i was told that theres a wiring adapter for the bulbs and the bulbs are different.

im guessin the tail lights fit fine.

cab lights...if the org member cant get the harness off with the lights, ford has the wiring for like 48 i think.

Kind of steep for the headlights. You can get them on ebay for cheaper than that. But you will need to cut off the pigtails for the bulbs!

Tailgate seems high too... does it have a step??

i didnt really look at the tailgate for the step. and the parts guy didnt specify.

the ones on ebay, are they the ford lights or aftermarket?

the rear bumper did cross my mind. but i use the bumper for a step and use the hitch for everything.

you can get recon LED cab lights (with wiring harness) for like $90 in smoked, clear, or orange. headlights, you can get with a new pigtail for like $150-160 for a pair. Good luck on the project.

I think the tailgates on ebay are knockoffs... and not ford.
