Paint bed liner???

I have some ruff areas on the bottom corners of the fender well and some areas on the pinch weld. I wire wheeled the bubled paint off. I am going to bed liner the pinch weld and up just a tad and in behind the doors. I was wondering if i went up the fender a inch or two if i could paint it the color of my truck? The bed liner i am using is the flat black Rustolium That i believe will take paint.

Any thaughts?

Some do some dont. It should be in the instructions. Some of them the paint gets put directly in the mix

I read the can and it said nothing about painting. I want to paint it once it is applied. It is black so there is no way i could tint it with red.
