supercab door rattles 2000 f350

my supercab doors rattle going down the road and when you hiy bumps in the road has anyone else experienced this and is there a fi i have only owned this truck for 4 days and this is the only thing i dont like about it

I have a thumping noise in the area of my left side rear door. Sounds like a knotted rope slapping the side of my door. I can't seem to find it. It may be a cable/wire along the frame?

Yep... know exactly what you mean. I fixed mine yesterday as a matter of fact. I adjusted the latches on the truck inward just a tad. Then I pushed on the door to see how much play they had. My driver door still moved quite a bit, so I looked at the round bump stops on the door and they were loose as hell. I ended up shimming up the bump stops with some rubber gasketing I had. I did all the doors for good measure and there are is no more door rattles.

It was driving me nuts, just havent had time to do it till yesterday.

i adjusted the latches on all four doors on mine within a week of owning it - I HATE RATTLES (except from under the hood!!!).

How do you adjust the latches on the doors? Our SC doors don't shut solid, they
just bounce in and out when you shut them. The whole time we've been thinking should've bought a CC.
