Mirror light covers

I got a can of nightshade and I just did my tailights, they look great. I want to do the mirrors but I cant figure out how to get the covers for the lights of my mirrors off, do they just snap on and off or do I have to take the mirror apart?

Thanks for your help.

there are four clips behind the mirror ... turn the mirror all the way one way and you can reach behind it with a flat head screw driver and bend the tabs ... they are in all 4 corners if you get a light in there you can see them .... as you push the tabs gently pull the backing.

not too fun... just adjust the mirror in and out each way as far as you can go and reach behind the glass with a screwdriver to pop the clips out... real easy to break them. Once you get them off you will see what needs to be done...
