7 hole wheels?

My truck came with the 8 hole wheels and I have seen plenty of the 6 hole wheels bet there is a superduty on post that has 7 hole factory wheels. Whats up with that!

From what I've read the 7 lug wheel is the only diesle that Ford made in modle year 98. It looks like a F150 but with a F250 badge. I've only seen one.

I think Ryan is talking about the actual holes in the wheel. Not the stud holes. Some superduty wheels (bullet hole styles) have 6 holes and some have 8. I've never seen one with 7. Post a pic Ryan

No guys thats not what I mean. This is a Ford F350 Powerstroke with 8 lug wheels but the bullet hole pattern (not lug pattern) is 7 hole instead of 6 or 8. They are stock wheels but I have never seen them before and was wondering if anyone else had!

They came on the "light duty" F-250's in either 97 or 98, just before the Superduty was introduced.

I remember when they were introduced and couldn't believe that any manufacturer would run this one of a kind setup!!!

But then again, Ford used a metric diameter rim on the Mustang Cobras in 79-81 that gave you only 2 choices of tires made to fit them, both by Michelin.

yes for a couple years they made the F150 with an overload spring and different gearing and different axles (7 Lug) and called them F250 light duty pickups and then they had the Superduty F250 which was the HD model... the program ran for several years and majority of them were sold as fleet vehicles due to the higher payload ratings... very hard to find wheels for them, but almost all the other aftermarket parts are the same as the F150 I have seen quite a few... now here's the kicker, they did the same thing with the 04 and 05 model and called they hevy duty half tons and they wore the F150 badge at that point...

ask me how I know? because I have owned 3 of them... LMAO 97, 99, and 04.... the stopped doing it in 2005 or 2006, but the seven lugs were made from 97 all the way through till they stopped in 2005 I am pretty sure
