Best HID Kit??

Already checked out the Stealth Automotive kits....just wondering what others are going with. I'm tired of not being able to see at night on the back roads. Also, I wanted to clean up my headlights before I put the kit on, what should I polish them with? I've used the permatex headlight restore on a different car, and all I got was an hour of buffing per headlight, and the haze coming back about 3 months later. Any info would be great!!

Just make certain to tape off the surrounding areas so all your polishing is the headlight!! I second Mequires #82, its good stuff!

I say just get a decent kit off ebay. I have bought over 5 hid kits off ebay and I just plunged and bought a real expensive ebay hid kit and it may be a little better quality and just a tad brighter but it really wasn't worth the money. The cheapest kits on ebay offer a 1-2 year warranty. Just buy from a US seller and more than likely everything will be fine. I just bought 4300K fog lights and 5000K bixenon all digital 55watt balast headlights sure is bright now. Also the exspenive ebay HID kit I bought is still about the price of the forums sponsors HID kit and maybe a little less. It is a bixenon instead of a halogen highbeam and hid low beam, which sucks when I had them before the high beam was useless, but the kit I bought has a lifetime warranty on all parts, something I never have seen from any other HID kit.

What bulb type are the 05-07 headlights? I want to do an HID kit that is both hi and low beams but will be upgrading to the newer style headlights at the same time. I havent purchased the new HD lights so I dont know what bulbs they accept. Thanks!
