More ZF6 Questions
So today, I took about an 80 mile round trip. It came to my attention that the tranny was feeling a little warm (Granted, it was in the mid 90's here today). When I got home, I climbed under the truck to feel the transmission case. If I were to judge, it was somewhere around 120-130F. I wasn't pulling or anything, but I thought I'd ask if this seems normal. Still need to check/change my fluid.
Another question is of power capabilities. All I've done to my truck is put an intake, straight exhaust, and tuner on it. The clutch is slipping and has been for months (Though I've learned where the limits are to it) I'm still saving up to buy one, my question is: Is there any reason my ZF6 shouldn't handle the estimated 425 HP (To the flywheel) that it's got now?
