Valve body question
New to the forums, first post. I have a 99 250 PSD and yesterday it quit shifting past 2nd gear. I researched all last night and pulled my pan off this morning. needed a change anyway. does anyone have a diagram or somewhere I can get one of the valve bodies?

I got my custom tuned valve body from BTS for around $250, It is great, really cleans up the shifts and I think will help the tranny handle the extra torque. However if you got bad tranny problems a valve body probably wont fix it. What kinda temps you been running before and after it messed up?

I have an edge evolution that I keep plugged up on stream and I haven't seen it get above 188. My luck is that I need a new tranny/tc but I'm starting simple

My guess would be the solenoid pack but it could be a lot of things. You need to get it on a scanner though and check for codes.Even if the OD light is not blinking, there might be a code. Not all scanners read tranny codes.

Evidently it was the valve body. At least that's what I'm going to say
I got it all cleaned up and put back together and she did fine. Hopefully for good lol. Now I got to give her a bath and get some picks to put on the forums. I'll be sure to get the picks of the chevy i'll be pulling back to the house with her to.
