Rebuilt 4r100 first drive no 2-3 shift

So I rebuilt my first automatic transmission and at first I thought everything was good it went in and out of all gears while sitting stopped. So I take it down the street and it shifts fine from 1-2 but then it will just keep climbing until redline. No third gear, reverse works fine. Also I have no overdrive light on so I would assume it's not trying to shift?? I need help I'm hoping I don't have to pull the transmission again
