tranny help

i have a 200 f-250 7.3 automatic transmision.
yesterday i decided to change the transmission fluid and replace the filter.
here are the steps i took:

-drain fluid and drop the pan
-replace filter, clean pan and put back on
-drain torque converter, lift rear end and put the truck in neutral to spin the fly wheel in order to find the plug and drain the torque converter
-put plug back in and put shield back on covering the fly wheel
-refilled with truck with transmission fluid and lubegaurd from uptop

is there a specific spot to refill the torque converter?

put the truck in drive and it will go in and out of gear, same with reverse.
the tranny is not staying in gear, it flucuates between neutral and in gear

don't know what to do, does anyone have suggestions?
