Ive heard that you don't want to lock it under like 1200 RPM or so because something about line pressure isn't high enough to keep it from slipping. Not sure if thats true or if i just have a really healthy trans cause ive locked mine at about idle RPM (while moving) and floored it to smoke out some dodge boys and it didn't slip at all.

haha I like that. I did do something like that but in second gear coasting. I guess its not a terribly dangerous upgrade. it was the easiest DIY I have done yet. I didn't do the pcm fooler or anything just ran the ground wire switch and the light.

i have this mod along with the ebpv brake switch mod for pulling trailers...works great. i would be really careful about locking it up at low rpm's though, better safe than sorry. most every thing i have read up on the tc lock up says not to lock it up under about 1500rpm becuase of low line pressures, because the lockup clutch in the tc could possibly slip resulting in damage.

Its gotta be ok to have it locked lower than 1500. My tw chip will keep it locked down to about 1100 or 1200. Like i said earlier, mine must just be really healthy if it don't slip at low RPM lock up.
