ZF6 Issue... grinding in 1st and 2nd once in gear low rpm

So I think the syncros are fine because it gets into 1st(not low) and 2nd just fine but if i'm going really slow I can hear and feel some light grinding. Once I get into it (higher rpm) it goes away. Seems to be worse when turning as well but is not exclusive to turning. Any idea what my issue could be? Thanks for the help!

Awesome, good to know that it is not a bigger issue. What would you suggest for fluid?

Sound like your clutch is not fully disengaging. How many miles on the truck and is it the stock clutch?

I've looked into gear rollover and that def sounds like it. I would think that if my clutch was not disengaging all the way it would not by exclusive to 1st and 2nd gear at low RPM which gear rollover would be. Thanks for the input though! I'm going to give changing the fluid a try because it probably needs it anyway. Although, it sounds like this gear rollover is something Im going to have to live with as a ZF6 owner.

Royal purple syncromax, I have heard a lot of good things about it but it is super pricey. As all royal purple products are.

You could also try the TonyBia mix.

3/4 full synthetic ATF
1/4 0w40 full synthetic
1 bottle of you choice of manual transmission additive/quiet.

I ran it for about a year, completely silenced my gear rollover and it was scary loud.
