NO overdrive, no codes and no flashing light???

headed home from work today and my truck would not shift above 3rd. it has never given any problems, it is oem original with 93k on it. i stopped, shifted to park and then back to drive, i still couldn't get about 40 mph. i stopped again turned the truck off, let it set 5 min and then restarted. it acted fine the rest of my drive home. i did check fluid, it looked clean and was at the correct level. anything else i should check/do? we have a trip coming up that i planned to take my truck on but i a little leery now.

IDK if it has anything to do with it but my truck actually unlocked the TC going down the highway. Seemed to only do it in one of my tunes so I called Jody at DP and he said clean the speed sensor on the top of rear axle housing. Hasn't done it since than so I'm guessing it worked. It's free and only takes a couple minutes.
