Smile Flashing OD

So I've had the lovely flashing od and speedo drop out. Would shift hard from 1st to 2nd, but only when the speedo was out. I replaced the VSS, seemed fine but od still flashed. 6 months later, I took her to the Transmission shop we all don't want to go to. Boom they texted it, scanned codes and called saying its electrical.
Go to pick her up and guy told me BTW we fixed it.

SOLUTION.
If its Electrical check the greyish plug on the driver inner fender well under your brake booster and fuse box area. On the side facing the Transmission and ground the wire was Chafed/Cut.

I do wiring and should of caught it , but u didn't even bother to check to incoming side of the plug. So I hat being said, Go Check That Plug!
Labor cost me 100 with inspection, not bad but definantly something I should of caught!

So unless you pull a TCC code (they said this is what means you need a new tranny), you are in some luck still. I pulled High Input and Output sensor faults etc. Random stuff that lead me to believe my tranny wasn't sheet yet.

Good luck my fellow Strokers!

nice man very nice. might have to ask for your expertise one of these days !

as far as me I work 3 jobs. PT as a facilities manager for ECC off Post Rd
PT as a consultant for York Risk Services and remodeling on the side. Currently, remodeling condo for President of ECC. I stay busy! plus my son goes to Dimond, he's on the rifle team and tomorrow is the qualifying match for Nationals.
I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, have my EIT and National Board certifications on top of all the schools I've gone to. I make more money doing what I'm doing! but wish I was in the oil industry!

Yeah thanks man! I was thinking about posting for the ROTM for may. my truck isn't lifted or anything like that, but the sounds of a new turbo is appealing to me!
