Transmisson slipping in reverse
Hey, iI have 99' Ford F550 with 7.3l diesel automatic. I can hear a rattling noise coming from the transmission area. The noise seems to me like its coming from the torque converter. At first I didnt care but now my truck barely moves on reverse. On drive it seems that it takes it a long time to shift gears .When i put it on reverse I can feel like it grabs and then it slips . please guys any help would help .

The rattling is from the POOR design ford tc. Trans will have to be rebuilt because of metal and get the updated billett multi clutch tc. The '99 will alrready have the steel planets and the higher volume pump.
