Might get answers if you just ask the questions. I don't know the internals but there are a lot of knowledgeable people on the list.

Well, that is true I'm tired, and not thinking straight

I have a 2WD ZF-6 transmission. Got it for really cheap.

I'm getting ready to do a manual swap in my truck. My truck is 4wd

I'm wanting to see if i can turn the 2WD transmission into the 4wd one by getting the 4WD tail section, and the 4WD output shaft.

I know this works on most manual transmissions, but wanting to know whether it will work on the ZF-6 or not.

I ran into this a while back and you can't replace the rear section of the ZF6 to change it from a 2wd to a 4wd or vice versa because the main shafts are different so unless you change the main shaft I'm afraid your sol.
