Manual Tranny Change Intervel

Had local shop check out my front end last week and got to talkin to the guys about my tranny and they said I could change the fluid, in the manual, every 30,000 miles. Ive always heard, seen, and read that manuals need it every 100,000 or so.

Ya'lls opinions?

Fluid change?

Before the advent of synthetic fluids the recomended interval for changing the trans fluid was 30K, Auto or Manual. However with the new synthetic fluids out now, I beleive that the change interval has been extended to 100K on the manual trans and diffs, but I would still do 30K servicing on Auto's.
