Help! No Reverse and neautral is drive

I just recently got a factory tech racing 4r100 rebuild 2 weeks ago. Since then tranny has been fine and truck ran perfect. But tonight I go to park it and there is no reverse. It locks in but I rev it and the truck sits still and acts as its in park. Then when I put it into neutral it drives forward and will shift up to second but nothing past that. The OD light also blinks while driving. What could be my problem? This is my daily driver so quick help is much appreciated.

I also just tried shifting it manually into reverse by hand down on the transmission itself. The truck nudged forward then acts as if its in park.

Did you try pulling any codes?

Need to take it to the shop.

How do i search for codes?

You need a scanner to pull codes.

Or AE.


You need to get it to a shop that can pull the trans codes.

Turns out its the transmission solenoid pack. Now I just need to find one asap. The dealer wants $300. My dad is a ford employee so were going to see what kind of price he can get from ford employee parts.

I know the solenoid packs are $150-250 on ebay but most are not actual ford made ones.It is real easy to change the solenoid pack in it.Just drop the pan and there it is.
