99.5 4x2 trans won't move but will shift

I have a 99 7.3 with a auto trans. I WA driving down the street and hit a pothole. Airbag deployed and now the trans won't go into gear. The trans was doing just fine right before the airbag deployed. I got it towed back to the rv park and couldn't hear anything bad in the trans so I'm thinking its something electrical going on with the airbag? Truck has 350k and a little over 100 on the trans. Unfortunately I'm on the road and don't have much of a way to find the problem. Barely any internet service and no shops out here in Oklahoma. Any ideas?
