Trans died AGAIN!

Hey guys, my '01 f250 7.3 4x4 automatic trans died exactly 4 months after the 1 year warranty expired. Of course the damn shop won't do anything " because the warranty expired!" The truck only has around 126,000 miles on it. I was wondering if anyone near the So Cal, Orange County area can refer me to a worthy shop? Thanks in advance, Brad

John Wood would be your closest (best) shop for you.

John Woods is not only close to you, but the best 7.3 trans you can get. That's an arguable point, but he builds great stuff.

No one said John Wood was "the best". OP wanted someone close to do the work for him. So, John Wood, IMO, is the best fit for him.

There are lots of people like that. Sometimes they visit as guests for years and read loads of info before they ever create an account.

BTW, I cannot remember how many times I have watched that movie. CLASSIC.
One of my favorite scenes is when the two ugly lookin, not valet, dudes faces when they are launching the Ferrari. Lol
