with this code the truck has been really rough. stumbling, a lot of change in the rpms. wont idle properly. but it does this intermittently, it is not everytime i drive or all the time whne driving. also the torque converter wont lock up.

so i know this code would cause the torque converter problems but are the other symptoms common to this or do i have another problem along with it?

P0743 Torque Converter Clutch System Electrical Failure
P0741 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance/Stuck Off

There are 2 different issues. I would consult a trans shop.

Sounds like your converter is trying to lock up at idle, I don't know really. I'm not a transmission guy.. so.. I don't know. The issues you listed above could be a lot of things, but you would have other codes.
