Trans making oil?

I have a 4r100 that started puking trans fluid the other day out the vent while pulling a trailer around 165degrees on the temp. I checked it and it was way over full when i got home. Let it cool drained a good half gallon of trans fluid out and it was in the good mark on cold. After it warms up to 140 its way over full again WTF is going on? I am at a loss at the moment it still shifts fine and drives good.

thanks for any help

Kenneth

Be sure to check your transfer case fluid level also!

I don't know if the Superdutys can do this, but when I used to have a 1990 Chevy 4x4 the seal went bad between the tranny and transfer case so the tranny fluid would slowly migrate into the transfer case and cause it to puke out the overflow.

worth a shot I am at a loss as to where it is coming from and all of a sudden. It pushed enough fluid out to cover the trailer and the front of my fiances car that was following me in 50 miles.
