4r100 suddenly went out

My transmission which I think is a 4r100 on my 1999 powerstroke took a crap. I was driving then suddenly heard a thud then no gears would engage . No gears are working only park
What could this be? Please if u have info or opinion . Reply. Thank you, I need the help.

Could be between the motor and trans, not necessarily the trans. But idk a lot about that. Most likely, it's gonna have to come out anyway.

If your really lucky it's the flexplate. Otherwise it will be something expensive like the torque converter or input. Is your OD light blinking and have you checked the fluid for color, smell and contaminants?

The OD light is not blonking and I xhanged the fluid anout 8k miles ago . So its still good. This is rebuilt aluminum trans with I think a high perfomance torque converter. I bought it about 3 yrs ago and that's what the guy told me.
