Blew mine will this work

Got an 01 f450 4x4. Blew the e4od trans and don't have the money to build it right now but have found many e4ods out of wrecks. Will an 04 or 06 trang work?

You have a 4R100 not a E4OD, the 03.5 and up trucks had a different engine and transmission that won't work without many headaches. You need to find a transmission from a 99-03 7.3 diesel 4x4, gas transmissions are also different.
