OD Off Light Started Working????

After fixing several issues, the last one seemed to be that the OF off switch and light had stopped working. I also have an early Dfuse translocker and EBPV brake setup and thought maybe one of the switches or a wire had rubbed? Anyways after checking the Dfuse setup and all looked good I pulled the OD Off switch. I tested the pins and it appeared the switch was working? So I checked voltage at the connector in the shift lever and had +12 volts where needed? So next I opened the steering cover and pulled the small wire harness and checked it and found no rubbing spots. Last of all I thought maybe the little LED has failed so I hooked up a 12 volt DC power supply and cycled the switch and whoa, the light came on! So back together and now the light and switch and OD off all work! The only thing I can figure is some dirt in the switch contacts maybe?
