Vent on 4r100
I have a 99 F350 with the auto tranny I assume this is the 4r100 I read on another web site that there is a vent tube on the transmission that gets plugged up and this causes the pressure to force fluid out of the dip stick tube. I spent some time under the truck today and I can't find anything that looks like a vent can anyone tell me if in fact there is one or not ??

Yes it is on the top of the trans right about where the bell housing turns into the body. If it is factory the end of the hose will be on top right about where the extetion housing meets the body........
