Any truth to LED tails lights causing trany to not lock the torq?

I have had my tranny acting up lately (flashing vss). I have takin it to my local trany guy that I think is pretty trust worthy. He was talking to me and mentioned that he has a bullitin that states that the led lights in the rear dont have enough resistence making the truck think that you are riding the brake. which in turn causes the trany to not lock the torqconverter.
Just wandering if anyone has heard of this or knows anything about it?

Term3 is correct. What you need to do 1st & foremost is scan for codes & see what you get. What is your trans doing exactly?
