no o,d light

ive lost my o,d on the shifter no light and the button is not working ive checked fuses and all good there, also noticed hits 2nd hard like someone ran into the rear of my trk & also hits hard when trans locks. any help thank u. ive checked codes only p0237 come up and ive set edge tunner to stock.

I've got to ask the obvious: How's the fluid level in the trans.? How's the condition of the fluid? And I don't mean what you see at the end of the dipstick. Get a clean, light-colored container & drain a little ATF out of the pan & see what it looks like. For now, my educated guess would be a malfunctioning 1-2 shift solenoid. As far as the light, once again, we need to know the overall condition of your fluid. Get back to us on the condition & we'll go from there.....unless you've already figured it out. LOL

thanks for the info i will be checking fld monday, i did find damaged wires for the o,d light and was replaced and works great. will up date on fld color and condition.
