which clutch fork?
I have a 2000 PSD 2wd truck that I have been having clutch trouble with. I have ordered the LUK 07-155 clutch kit, the 5203-2RS pilot roller bearing that mcgoo422000 recommended that I will have the flywheel machined for, and a new upgraded shift fork. I spent several hours on the internet and phone before I found a shop that had the upgraded fork and then had to pay a premium for it. When it arrived, the box had been marked with the part number YC3Z 7515 BB in ink pen, but the fork in the box had a Ford oval logo and the part number 3C34 7515 AD. Well it turned out someone had already replaced the clutch prior to this and installed the YC357515BB upgraded fork, so I have one to compare it to. It looks fairly similar (wish I new how to post pics), and even has longer strengthening beams down each side of the arm. The only difference I see is that if you lay them flat down beside each other, the one they sent is offset slightly less than my origional one. A difference of about 3/8". I have Googled the part number and no luck. Anyone know what I got? Also, I have purchased a bellowed uppipe kit for this and plan on installing it at this time. Is it possible to install this with the tranny out and not have to remove the Turbo? Can I just remove the clamp on the bottom of the turbo and drop the whole thing out the bottom? Thanks in advance for all your replies!
