4R100 Transmission PTO and non PTO Will they both fit ????

Hi there,

Behind my 7.3L Powerstroke 2002 model 4WD I had a 4R100 transmission with 6 bolt plate for PTO I have had a transmission build for me BUT its not the PTO type and doesn't have the 6 bolt plate on the LHS.. Can I make this transmission fit and what will I need to change or add etc to make it work. Many thanks in advance . Tim

No need to make it fit. It will bolt right up.

Hello. I have just done this and yes it will fit. You will need a longer type sensor and a new bracket for the shift cable.
