transmission gone 6.0 trans in 7.3?

is there anyway to take a 2004-2007 transmission and stick it in a 99-03 f250 if so can you tell me what i need to do?

The easiest way to pull that off would be to get a donor truck and swap everything connected to the transmission; ECU, motor, etc. It would be great if there was a easy way to swap it but the transmission is controlled by the ECU so you would need to buy or make a stand alone transmission controller. Your best bet is to call BTS or JW and get a rebuilt 4R100, would cost you less in the end.

yeah i was hoping it would just switch over but i guess not
