4r100 high pressure port plug, trans temp
Have any of yall had problems with the plug rounding off and being frozen in the trans case?
I tried to remove the plug for my trans temp sender and cannot get it out. Even tried using a bolt extractor on it. How else can I install this sender? No other ports on the trans. Any way to put a T in a cooler line with a 1/8th" npt fitting? |

Anyway to rig up an impact driver to the to the bolt extractor - I assume it is like an easy-out? If you have already drilled the plug to use the etractor it would seem to me that your're comitted at this point, or you are using a tool I am not familiar with.
Good Luck |

Putting a t in the cooler line is ok, put it in the one that goes to the rear of the trans. Just remember, that will be the coolest fluid since it's returning from the cooler. If it showes 120, your trans may actually be 140.
