time for a new tranny?

1999 F250
225,000 miles

When cold or first start of day--truck will shift into gear and move for a bit. Then it will not move. Can hear a buzzing noise--but quits when applying throttle.

Talked to a few different people and everyone says different things. All from needing a new transmission, torque converter, pump, or electrical issues.

Any suggestions on where to buy a reasonable tranny? Dont need anything extreme as i only tow a small trailer with a utv on it.

Any good diesel mechanics/transmission shops near east liverpool ohio 43920?

thanks in advance
