Zf6 fluid leak

My truck has been leaking trans fluid from between the trans and transfer case for about 2 months. When I first noticed it, I checked the fluid level in the trans and T case. Both were level with the bottom of the fill hole. Plenty full. Its leaking enough that it has the rear trans mount right below where its leaking washed clean. I figured its a trans shaft output seal. I have one but havent got around to doin it yet. Now, its been about a month since I checked the fluid level. I checked it in the trans and T.case yesterday and they are still right at the bottom of the fill hole, exactly as they were a month ago. Now, with it leaking like that, you would think in a month the level would have dropped in either the trans or T case. But it hasnt, so my question is, what could it be? Havent had time to pull it apart to look yet but wasnt sure if anyone else has had this. Any ideas are great. Thanks fellas!

May only leak when the level is up over a certain point. Once it drops, it's away from whatever surface it's leaking out.
