Well Im new here, and I am new to the powerstroke world. just bought my truck about a month ago. It was all stock and I added some simple upgrades. Ever since I installed the TS 6 position chip, my transmission has been slamming into 3rd and 4th gear. Idk if this is normal or not. Im assuming its because the chip is fooling my PCM into thinking that Im pulling something, so it increases line pressure to firm up the shifts, but I don't like how hard the shifts are. Can anybody tell me more about this? Maybe getting some custom tunes instead of the out of the box TS tunes would help?
