e99 psd delayed 1-2 shift when hot

I just installed a reman 4r100 from a no name shop off ebay and guess what? Ok so I am about 80 miles into my 500 mile run in and I start noticing a really spongy 1-2 shift once its warmed up, everything else seems ok, shift points are good , not getting overly hot, about 190 on trans body and 140 on pan. I have not scanned it yet but I will tomorrow if I get a chance. I had some scares on the install that has had my attention ever since, first the trans came to me with a 5.4 tail housing on it, then a pan with no drain plug, not too big because I am keeping my core to rebuild myself, core even had a billet triple clutch converter in it, anyway my big scare was when I went to switch pans after already installing trans and I found a 1/4" check ball in the pan, I pulled the accumulator body and all balls were accounted for,that was a relief, I have been searching the archives for ideas and I found a few. I am hoping its just some rebuilding crap sticking up a valve, or something else external, this is my service truck and I am kinda stuck, been down too long. I would appreciate any insight you guys could give. Here is the kicker, I live less than an hour from brians truck stop, just couldnt afford bts.
