Dont buy a jasper tranny!

So when my factory tranny went out at 102K I looked around at getting a beefed up tranny..well needless to say my local tranny shop told me about these "high performance" jasper transmissions so I read the info and asked all the questions to the reps etc. Went ahead and had one put in and at first it was night and day! then I started watching my RPMS which were shifting way to high! took it in and they said it was normal so i delt with it just drove easier. then 7k miles into it I blew it up! just normal driving wiped out the clutches! got another new one put it (only good thing was its was warranty) drove this one less then 2k and its wasted! trys to kill my engine in reverse fluids are good dont look/smell burnt slams into gear if my chip is on anything about 50hp..this thing is an over priced paper weight! this being the second tranny and warranty out by a couple months they tell me the tranny problem is not jaspers problem! I wanna take the thing to there main office and stuff it up someones #$%

I am glad to hear about other peoples problems with jasper. they are a company that is just out there to screw you. i had my 6.0 engine blow so i put in a jasper engine and its in the shop every 3 to 6 months because the stuff jasper builds is complete junk. and than when you go to have waranty thru jasper pay for it they try to say its not there problem and that they are not going to help you with it and let you pay for it yourself. even though they gave me a 2 year waranty on the entire engine. I am looking into suing them for there worthless waranty and engine.

Sorry to hear about the engine problem your having with them, If something comes up and you need someone to write a letter to help with your court case I would be more then happy to write you a letter stating the lack of quality and explain how they dont stand by the warranty worth a damn!

adapter plate with an allison maybe?.. jus sayin.. those duracrap guys have luck with it

I am honestly debating doing the 6 speed conversion...Only thing that makes me hesitate is the price and time to do it
