Ok I am sure this may have been discussed on here before but I do not want to spend alot of time trying to find the exact thing I am asking about.
Here is my question I was looking to add a tranny cooler on my truck as I will be pulling rv trailers with it for extra money this comming year.
I only have the stock tranny cooler built into the radiator.
I was going to just add a cooler from the parts house in series with the radiator.
My question is I found this one online
Transmission Cooler w/ Fan [1030610] - $218.50 : East Coast Diesel, Performance Diesel Truck Parts and Services
Is this one over kill or should I go ahead a do it or something like this one with a fan?
I know the importance of cooler temps for the trans.
But I have never used a extra cooler and have been doing only limited towing and only hauled 1 rv and had no issues.
I do not want to have any issues with my tranny from the heat so I would like to spend a little more now than alot more later.
