"Squeeling" noise going into highest gear
Occasionally when getting onto the highway, it seems like my tranny is slow to shift into the highest gear (OD?), and when it does, it occasionally squeels/ slips for a second or two then catches/locks up and is fine. It hardly ever does this, and only at these higher speeds and going into the final gear. The truck is lifted 4in. with bigger 35in. tires. I am installing a PHP chip that I bought this weekend. Will the chip help this issue by firming up the shifts? What else could be causing this? Maybe a weak torque converter? Truck has 105,000 miles on it.... just bought it a few weeks ago

Anyone? Would a weak torque converter cause slippage or am I looking in the wrong direction?
