Got tranny rebuilt, w/ a ???

Just got my tranny rebuild by a nearby shop that has had a good reputation.

I've been driving it for about a week now, and alls i can say is damn!! Love my new tranny hahaha. Thing feels very strong and shifts are crisp and it shifts on a dime.

My only problem is, sometimes it will have a goofy shift. Like it feels like a good firm shift but it might give a bit of a hiccup. I only notice this when im not very hard on the throttle. If im giving it very much gas its perfect shifts.

Now my thought, and talked to a guy at the shop for a minute, we think it might be because of the rebuild and added transmission line pressure?

Now, i added a PHP 6 tune chip several weeks ago, which itself adds tranny line pressure itself. Do you think i need to resend my chip in and get it tuned for this new tranny i got put in? Do you think that is the problem and having it tuned for the tranny would get rid of my problem?

Thanks

I would call Speciality Transmission (25 years) in Brighton, Illinois. Jeff is about the best there is when it comes to transmissions. He would be able to get your concerns properly addressed.
