TC locking it R
im working on a 99 f350 with 4r100. it was rebuilt maybe 15k miles ago and it likes to lock up the tc in reverse and sometimes going forward. both ways at about 2-3 mph. and at that speed it stalls the engine in a second. and yes i know its loking up because i have a lockup switch in my truck and i know how it feels.
any ideas??? thanks |

if i remember it right, he told me that it kinda started doing that soon after it was rebuilt. but on the other hand it has a very hard life. 1 ton truck with 10 ft reading tool box bed. id say the truck has about 12 k on it most of the time lol |

Search the forum. Over and over again, it's the pump. Crossleaks cause the tc to apply when trans is engaged.
