Truck stalls in reverse
I have a 2000 F350 with auto trans, last week I pulled a heavy truck out of the snow, my truck stalled once so i put it in Low range. It stalled again, but I got it out. I was pulling the truck out in Drive. Now when I try to back up with a light load (1600 Lb trailer) it stalls. I have to put it in Low range so it doesn't stall.
Any Ideas |

Replace the pump, it's warped, has cross leaks allowing fluid to apply the torque converter.

I have the same problem but my truck stalls with no load. I was told it was the torque converter lock up.
