any way to tell if my tranny has a shift kit?

just wondering if there is any way to tell if my truck has a shift kit? the truck is a 2000 7.3 and i just bought it. the truck has very firm crisp shifts, and feels like it shifts more agressive than my friends stock trans. the truck has an aftermarket deep pan and it has a trans temp gauge, so i know the trans was paid attention to, just wondering if there is any way to tell if a shift kit has been installed or not.
thanks

Yes but, you have to pull the front v/body and ck the springs in the bores. Not really worth the time or effort.
