01 F350 trans problems?

What issues need to be dealt with on these trucks. I am picking up a core and having it built at Finish Line Transmissions, just wondering what are the problem areas when making power or towing with these trucks...
Converter? Valve body? Input or output shafts?

Not a ton, it will mainly be my daily driver and towing my trailers around. And just have fun hot roddin it once in awhile.. I might do a turbo upgrade at some point.. but just basic bolt ons and custom tune.

Well I'm no expert but I have tunes and its my daily driver, but before you get it tuned I would suggest a valve body and if you have the money maybe a converter. I mean you might as well while its out. If I had the money I would definately get a bts full build though.

Yea I am thinking the converter might be a good addition when I do it. I have a pretty good connection on the trans so I want to do it right away.

From what I've read on here the 6.0 converter is a big upgrade from ours, but I'm pretty sure there is some moding that has to be done to make it work.

Be advised, the 6.0 converter will not work on the 7.3. Converter rebuilders take the bowl of the 6.0 converter and put it on the front half of the 7.3. It just makes a lower stall converter.
