2002 F350 tranny fluid change

:Interested to get a response on the changing of fluid on higher mileage tranny. Mine has 143xxx on it and I don't know if it has ever been changed? It shifts great, but fluid does look to be on the clear/pink side. Should I flush and filter it? Or will it stir up problems? Also, I called BTS to check pricing on a tranny. Am I the only one that threw up at $4500.00 for a tranny??? Was just curious because i have heard great things, but WOW.....

I'd say there's NO Chance the fluid hasn't changed

145K and it has a "pink" color to it? Not only has it been changed, chances are, not too long ago!

But first and foremost, this is one of those " if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" kinda things.... Find something else to do to your truck
