TC Issues

Had a bit of an issue going on for a few days, I noticied when i would put my truck into reverse, i would feel the rpms increase but it felt almost like a toasted clutch in a manual shift truck.
So i scanned it with AE and found out i am throwing a P0741 code (TC performance/Stuck off or on). I called the mechanic who rebuilt the transmission 18 months ago, and he said there was a good possibilty it could be a TC solenoid stuck open or closed.
Anybody have any experience with this, and is there anything i check/ fix on my own without having to haul the truck back up to the shop?
Note: When the tranny was rebuilt 18 months ago I had a triple disc TC installed and a heavy duty clutch pack, as well as a Tugger kit.

P.S. I have checked the fluid, it was right where it needed to be,was clean,and didnt smell like burnt marshmellows!!!

Try to describe your problem a little b etter. I'm not sure I understand the complaint.
