BTS trans problem

*** not the trans itself. i dont think*** more of a tuning issue i hope.

ok so ive got 3k miles on my BTS and just the other day the TC wouldnt lock up after the trans got up to temp, so about 20min of driving. Ill be cruising down the highway in OD with the TC locked up then bang it unlocks and wont lock up until you shut her down and its cooled down again. its done this 4 or 5 times now.

this is the second time ive had an issue with this trans in this amount of time, i didnt pay 4500 for a trans that breaks ever couple thousand miles.
and ive had to pull trans out of this truck 4times now since march this year only once with the BTS. dont get me wrong Brian is a great guy and i love the trans but there seems to be a lot of issues with it, ill give him a call in the morning as soon as they open to see what he says. last time he knew exactly the problem and sent me the parts no charge. i just dont have the time to be dealing with this and its my only vehicle.

now ive changed filters(in line as well) thinking maybe they were clogged also went down to one cooler thinking that it was reducing the flow. checked fluid levels all good. still does it.

what do you guys think?

tans temp high? is so could be ur pump in there is weak.

It runs up to about 160* before the TC unlocks. Then it rises up to 180* real quick after the TC is unlocked.

Just spent 25 min on the phone with Brian. Again he is a great guy helped me out and even gave me some suggestions. I just need to run it on a auto ingenuity or something. He thinks the computer is telling the TC to unlock. Not sure why.

ok so i still havent had time to get the truck on an AE to see whats going on and now its throwing codes, but now the TC will unlock as soon as i let off the trottle and if i get back into the throttle it will lockup hard. and when im in cruise control if i hit a bump it will just unlock the TC and kill the cruise control. This all started weeks ago when i was towing and as i was getting on the freeway when it when into OD the trans shuttered 3 or 4 times then went into gear Ive never had it do that but i had just had the chip reburned so i figured that was the cause. Probably going to need to get it reburnt again and im guessing the TPS or brake sensor needs replacing.
