a few tranny issues...

ok so to start off, i have my dp tuner installed (f-6) and have an 03 f250 with 98,000 miles on it. the transmission BEFORE the tuner was installed would make this vibrating sound at around 55-60mph that felt/sound like it was coming from the middle of the cab. it was MORE noticable when you let off the pedel and are just coasting. what do you guys think? ive thought either u-joints, or torque converter?


problem #2 when driving in any of the tunes (60econo, 120 race, 140hp) the transmission seems to shift at a higher rpm then usual. sometimes it wants to shift at 2,000 rpm, other times it wont shift until it hits 2500-2700rpm which by that time i just let off the gas and let it rpm down THEN it will shift.

i am looking to get the john wood valve body, and possibly changing shift points, but its inconsistant shifting, so what do you guys think?

changing the valve body won't change the shift points, thats controlled by the computer.
